In order to be eligible to participate in Ashley Athletics, students must meet the following requirements;

1. Must have passed 3 courses the previous semester
2. Must be promoted to the next grade level
3. Cannot turn 19 before August 31st
4. Cannot compete in more that 8 consecutive semesters
5. Must have a valid physical on file with the mandated NCHSAA form
6. Must have a Gfeller-Waller Concussion Form Signed by Parent AND Student on file
7. Must live in Ashley attendance zone
8. Per New Hanover County Schools policy: Must have a 2.0 or 70% from previous semester (or previous year for Fall Sports)
9. Must be present during during school on the day of a contest/practice in order to be eligible to practice
